Marketing and advertising are used by many, if not all businesses. But small and micro businesses are often missing out on the huge impact that public relations activities can have. Public relations is often free, and will rarely cost you as much as traditional advertising. This video set will take you through an introduction to public relations and how you can do it yourself and save on large agency fees or hiring someone internally.

I will be releasing more videos about public relations, the importance of a good reputation, issues and crisis management, and media training soon.
Practice writing a media release by pulling from past events and business achievements until you are comfortable with the format. You will find attached a PDF of the example media release I used in the final video.
