Critérios de Elegibilidade para Pessoas Candidatas à Dádiva de Sangue (NAU)

São muitas as questões que se colocam à população. Todas as pessoas podem dar sangue? Quais as condições para o fazer? Quais os seus direitos e deveres enquanto dador de sangue? Porque não podem dar sangue quando tomam antibióticos?

O IPST quer reforçar a literacia em saúde sobre os critérios de elegibilidade para a dádiva de sangue, no contexto da promoção da dádiva de sangue segura e informada, por forma a capacitar os potenciais dadores para questões que os podem impedir de dar sangue; evitando deslocações desnecessárias e permitindo uma resposta mais eficaz por parte dos serviços de sangue.

A qualquer momento qualquer um de nós pode necessitar de receber uma transfusão sanguínea para continuar a viver, fazendo esta causa algo que diz respeito a todos nós.
Este curso, pretende ainda, sensibilizar os potenciais candidatos à dádiva, para os critérios de segurança a serem observadas na dádiva de sangue.

Objetivos de Aprendizagem
Após a realização deste curso vai ser capaz de:

  • Conhecer quais os critérios de elegibilidade para ser Dador de Sangue;
  • Conhecer os principais cuidados a ter antes e após a dádiva.
  • Conhecer as principais situações que impedem a dádiva de sangue;
  • Conhecer quais os Direitos e Deveres dos Dadores de Sangue;
  • Conhecer comportamentos com risco acrescido para infeções transmissíveis pelo sangue;
  • Conhecer o significado e importância do “período de janela” relativamente às doenças infeciosas transmissíveis pela transfusão;
