Petu has a background in journalism – having previously worked as a reporter for online publication Maldives Independent to cover rural island and environment stories. He came into the world of ocean conservation around 2 years ago when he began working as project officer for Maldives Resilient Reefs. He has a passion for communicating challenging topics and engaging with ocean issues faced by Maldivian society.
