Ann Pilkington
Ann Pilkington is a founding director of PR Academy.
Her early career was in journalism, moving into PR with major blue-chip companies including the AA, BT, The Woolwich bank and Barclays.
As an independent communications consultant, she specialises in leading communications on major change programmes within the public sector. She has a particular interest in communicating projects and her book on the topic has been published by Gower.
She holds a Masters in Public Relations from the University of Stirling, City and Guilds Further Education Teacher’s Certificate and the Communications, Advertising and Marketing Diploma (CAM). She is a Fellow of the RSA where she volunteers her communication expertise to support Fellows’ projects and is an Associate member of the Association for Project Management (PR Academy are also corporate members) and is a member of its ‘People’ special interest group which promotes good communication within projects.
Ann’s main focus is on running PR Academy, delivering project communication consultancy, courses and training.
