This course offers participants an opportunity to explore the foundations of entrepreneurship through the online education platform, edX. The hand-crafted introductory course welcomes people from all backgrounds and experience levels.

At the start of the course, individuals will be matched with a team based on their interests and prior experience. Over the course of the 8 weeks, participants will explore key concepts relating to business development while working with their team to create a product. They will study topics from market analysis to minimum viable product creation, to pitching through lectures, videos, and readings. Simultaneously, teams will complete milestone assignments to progress their business idea into a real product. Our goal is for teams to grow their entrepreneurial thinking skills and complete the course with a successful product to launch.

How to…
● Effectively cultivate and uphold a strong founding team for your business
● Identify problems and gaps in industries that can be solved through entrepreneurship
● Conduct market research and customer interviews to assess the profitability and usefulness of your business idea
● Develop and test a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
● Build a pitch deck and pitch to potential investors
● Fundraise to different types of investors and efficiently finance and manage funds
