Marc-Oliver Pahl leads the IoT Smart Space Orchestration team (S2O team) at the Chair for Network Architectures and Services at Technical University of Munich (TUM). The S2O team created this MOOC. Marc holds a Diploma from the University of Tübingen, and a PhD (summa cum laude) from the Technical University of Munich. He is about to finish his habilitation in 2020. Marc is an eLearning pioneer, having started with distant education already in 2003 – with a course on how the Internet works! He is continuously teaching at German Universities since 2001 and does research in education. When not teaching about the Internet, Marc and his team do research on how our ambiances could be controlled by software similar to how smartphones are controlled by Apps.
