Failure as a Win (Skillshare)
This is class is part of Skillshare's Creativity & Innovation series. Learn how to become comfortable with failure as part of the innovation process. In this 5-minute video challenge from the Skillshare team, we discuss how to find failure and why you need to keep pushing boundaries. Failure happens when we have the confidence to be creative, take on new challenges, and stretch your limits. This is how we learn.

The gist of this class is that the stigma around "failure" as a terrible thing is out of sync with understanding creativity and innovation. For your project, share something of yours that's "failed" and 3-5 sentences on what you learned from the failure – what was the unintended learning outcome that surprised you?
Project Specs

- Share your project in any medium you'd like – sketched, filmed, written, photographed, screenshot.
Examples

- This could be a failed project at work, a relationship that didn't work out, that time you tried a new recipe for dinner and it went wrong. No matter the size or scale, there's always something you can learn from.

- Check out my own example project for this class. It only took me 5 minutes to put this together, it doesn't take long :)
Additional Resources

- Our inspiration for the project of this class came from Tina Seelig. Learn more in this Fast Company article about how she uses the assignment with her students.
