In the class I'll explain:
- My secret splattering technique
- The most important thing to know when painting a galaxy pattern
- My hack on how to transfer the linework onto watercolor paper
- All along the class in an easy to follow and fun way
(And as a bonus I show you how I painted her face with aquarelle pencils)
By the end of this class you will get all the skills you need to paint a beautiful galaxy/ night sky patterned hair with watercolor.
After watching all the class videos I highly encourage you to try out what you’ve learnt.
- Schedule some time to painting: This painting took me approximately 30 minutes from start to finish, so I advise you to count with a minimum of 45 minutes for the project. You don’t have to paint it all at once, it’s absolutely fine if you can paint just a bit at a time. Don’t rush, enjoy the process!
- Prepare your materials: Transfer the line art to watercolor paper, get some brushes and watercolor paints. For this project you would also need a used, old toothbrush.
- Relax: Before you start painting, I would highly recommend to take some deep breaths to calm your mind down. You will see how easier painting will become if you are not stressed out!
- Ask for help: If something is not clear during the painting process feel free to ask me, I’m more than happy to help! :)
- Share your project: Share your work in progress and final painting in the project gallery, I would love to see your progress and if you want me to I can give you some extra advices regarding your painting!*
