Anna Earl

Dr. Anna Earl is the Lead Faculty in the University of Canterbury Connected MBA Program teaching the Societies in Smart Cities course. She serves on editorial boards at the Journal of International Management and Review of International Business and Strategy.

Her passion for smart cities and societies has been motivated by understanding the interplay between data and society. This has translated into global research collaborations on smart cities and societies.

Her other key research interests include how to develop sustainable multinational enterprises through their relationships governments. She is also interested how MNEs from emerging economies deal with institutional complexity and manage change. Other research areas of interest include ethics in research, academia and organizations.

She completed her PhD from the University of Auckland in the area of International Business.
