You'll use large needles and a thick jersey yarn that is easy to work with and holds its shape.

Whether you're a crafter, an artist, or someone simply looking for a fun new hobby, this class will inspire you to work knitting into your life in a fresh, modern way. Once you master the clutch, the possibilities are endless!

Knit a simple clutch with a double moss stitch.

This is a great beginner project, as you're starting with a rectangle and using a hefty, jersey yarn. You'll cast on your rectangle, cast off, and sew it together to make the clutch form.

Once you know how to create forms out of your knitted piece, you can add on a strap or closure, or even sew your shape into a totally new piece.

Share a photo of your clutch in the Project Gallery. If you've knitted before, please share previous work for inspiration!

- Or: Tender Loving Clutch Kit from Wool and the Gang. Optional. This includes all of the above, plus directions.
