Lois Meyer

Lois Meyer is Senior Research Fellow, Postgraduate Learning and Teaching within the School. She undertakes strategic curriculum development and instructional design across the Master of Public Health, the Master of Health Management and the Master of International Public Health. She also seeks to develop a strong emphasis on Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) across the postgraduate programs. Lois teaches in the Master of Health Management in the area of health leadership and workforce management and has a strong research interest in tracing the learning and career trajectories of our postgraduate students and the implications of their postgraduate studies for strengthening capacity in health organisations. Her background is in health professional educational and workplace learning with an emphasis on Human Resource Development and workforce capacity. Her areas of principal research interests are in curriculum design, professional education and workplace learning in the areas of public health and health management within local and international contexts. Lois is currently completing her PhD researching professional formation within a work-based professional doctorate in public health.
