Javier Pinilla

PhD. Architect and Associate Professor at the Technical School of Architecture (ETSAM) of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). Member of the research group, Analysis and Intervention in Architectural Heritage (AIPA). As an architect, since 2003, he has projected and directed numerous new building works. He has also performed as well as different rehabilitation, repair and restoration works. He is an expert in building pathology with more than 10 years of experience in the field, being responsible of writing the expert reports. For years, he has been involved in the subjects of Construction, Pathology and Intervention Techniques in different Master courses developed in the Department of Construction and Architectural Technology and in ETSAM. He has participated in different Conferences and has published several articles in specialized journals of recognized prestige in the sector.
