Felipe Gonzalez Morales

He was the former President of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (2010-2011), where he also served as Commissioner and Rapporteur on Migrants and Refugees between 2008 and 2015, as well as Rapporteur on Brazil, Costa Rica, Cuba, El Salvador, United States, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
He is Professor of Public International Law at the Diego Portales University in Chile, where he is also director of the Master in International Human Rights Law.
He has been Director of the Center for Legal Research and founder and first director of the Center for Human Rights of the Diego Portales University.
