Develop a basic understanding of the elements of a Smart City and learn the impact of using metrics to measure its performance.
Carlos Vazquez, Researcher at Smart Cities Innovation Center CUCEA UDG: Has graduated the Faculty of Mathematics in 1999. He is M.C. in Mathematics and holds a PhD degree in Information Technologies from the University of Guadalajara. Thesis project consisted in the development of Synthetic Semantic Spaces that will allow analyzing the information generated by a city. He is research fellow of the Smart Cities Exploration Center at the University of Guadalajara. He has been the leader of the Metrics Department for the IEEE Guadalajara’s Smart City project since October of 2013.
