Allan Jacobs

Allan Jacobs is a trainer, consultant and writer based in New York City. While technically an independent, Allan works provides his training through Global Knowledge and spends a good deal of his time travelling to client sites and training centers throughout the US. He has taught many Train the Trainer sessions for instructional skills, as well as Lync and System Center at Microsoft Trainer Summits. For the last nine years Allan has been selected to staff Microsoft’s TechEd and now Ignite conferences and has served as a Subject Matter Expert on several projects for Microsoft Learning. Allan was also co-author of the revision of the Microsoft Official Courseware for OCS 2007 R2, the Lync 2013 Depth Support Engineer Course and the MOC for Skype for Business Server 2015. He has served as the Technical Reviewer of Office 365 and Azure courses for SR Technical Services and Microsoft. In his younger days Allan practiced law, something that he has happily avoided for the last sixteen years.
