SAP Environment, Health, and Safety for Operational Sustainability (openSAP)

Offered by SAP,
SAP Environment, Health, and Safety for Operational Sustainability (openSAP)

Join this free online course to learn how SAP solutions for environment, health, and safety can support your company in reducing health and safety risks and becoming more sustainable. Protecting the workforce and managing the company's impact (positive or negative) on the environment is fundamental to any sustainable business. For this reason, most manufacturers maintain environmental, health, and safety management programs.

The pressure to improve health and safety risk management and reduce negative environmental impact comes from social responsibility, an increasing number of regulations, and related stakeholder expectations for more sustainable operations. However, lack of transparency due to things like manual processes and scattered data often leads to the failure of environment, health, and safety management, and prevents employees from contributing to a collaborative safety culture. Integrated and transparent environment, health, and safety management is required to effectively mitigate risks and reduce harm.

In this course we’ll present typical environment, health, and safety challenges. You’ll learn how the SAP solutions for environment, health, and safety can support your company in solving these challenges. The beginning of the course will be focused on the domain and the context regarding environment, health, and safety. It will then move into specific business processes and topics and demonstrate how SAP EHS handles them. Finally, you’ll learn how the latest technologies such as the Internet of Things can be used to reduce environmental, health, and safety risks. Furthermore, you’ll understand how SAP Environment, Health, and Safety can help your company to react to disruptions such as COVID-19.
