Los materiales compuestos, o combinación de una matriz polimérica y un elemento de refuerzo, se consideran materiales avanzados, con un gran potencial de uso en el ámbito de la ingeniería.
Actualmente, en los medios de comunicación se habla continuamente de la fibra de carbono, de las fibras de aramidas, etc. Muchos de estos materiales avanzados se emplean en sectores altamente tecnológicos (deporte de competición, sector aeronáutico-aeroespacial, etc.), ya que ofrecen propiedades excepcionales, junto con elevada ligereza.
Además de estos sectores de tecnología puntera, los materiales compuestos los puedes encontrar actualmente, en un amplio rango de sectores industriales y de consumo como en el sector médico, sector de la construcción, protección balística, vehículos, embarcaciones, transporte ferroviario, etc.
Con este curso online se aborda la particularidad que presentan los materiales compuestos para diseño y cálculo en el ámbito de la ingeniería.

What you'll learn
En este curso online te formarás en las tecnologías que subyacen en las altas prestaciones de estos materiales y, además, aprenderás a realizar diseños de piezas/componentes/ensamblajes de ingeniería con el empleo de estos materiales, utilizando la plataforma SolidWorks.
Los módulos te irán guiando paso a paso hasta que tengas amplios conocimientos sobre diseño y utilización con materiales compuestos. Entre otros aspectos, este curso te proporcionará los cimientos para:

  • Entender la estructura y funciones de cada componente en un material compuesto.
  • Entender las particularidades de cálculo en materiales anisotrópicos.
  • Utilizar modelos micromecánicos para estimar propiedades de compuestos.
  • Llevar a cabo análisis de materiales compuestos mediante Teoría Clásica con software eLamX.
  • Implementar el uso de laminados de material compuesto en herramientas CAE.

Prerequisites
Los conocimientos que se recomiendan para un correcto seguimiento son los siguientes:

  • Fundamentos básicos de Ciencia de Materiales.
  • Propiedades elásticas (módulos) y resistentes (tensiones de rotura) de materiales.
  • Conversión de expresiones paramétricas a matriciales. Nivel básico.
  • Conceptos básicos de CAD, CAE.
