Ever wanted to make your own skirt? Well now you can! This elastic waistband skirt is so easy to make and in this class I'll show you how to make it based off your own measurements. I'll also show you how to customize it by changing the elastic width and the ruffle amount. When you finish this class, you'll be able to make this skirt what you want it to be!

For the class project, make your own skirt!
Tools & Supplies:
The amount of fabric needed will vary depending on measurements taken in class

  • Non-stretchy Fabric, between approx. 1/2yd - 2yds
  • Thread
  • 1/2" elastic (or whatever width you prefer)
  • Pins or Clips
  • 1 Safety Pin
  • Scissors
  • Measuring Tape
  • Iron & Ironing Board
  • Sewing Machine
  • Paper & something to write with
  • Colorful tape (optional)
