En este curso nos concentramos en que el estudiante entienda claramente cómo funcionan los circuitos eléctricos en AC, manteniendo el modelo simple con el modelo de fasores. Entender claramente estos conceptos te permitirá analizar fácilmente circuitos con componentes que aportan una mayor funcionalidad como transformadores, amplificadores operacionales y transductores.

DC vs AC: Señales y formas de Onda, Parámetros de Sinusoides, El Valor Promedio, El Valor RMS, Capacitores, Inductores.

El Modelo de Fasores: Aritmética de Números Complejos, Modelación de Elementos Pasivos, Modelación de Elementos Activos, Fasores de Voltaje y Corriente, Impedancia, La Ley de Ohm, Leyes de Kirchhoff.

Circuitos Sinusoidales en Estado Estable: Circuitos Serie, Circuitos en Paralelo, Instalaciones Bifásicas.

Potencia en AC: Modelo Complejo de la Potencia, Potencia Real, Potencia Reactiva, Potencia Aparente, El Factor de Potencia, Cálculos de Potencia en Circuitos.

Corrección del Factor de Potencia: Motores y Cargas Inductivas, Instalaciones Industriales, El Problema de la Potencia Reactiva, Corrección del Factor de Potencia.
