Do you like Thanksgiving? Want to learn to animate a turkey? This class will teach you how to make a turkey jump from side-to-side with only six drawings! You can apply these same animation techniques to any character you like. The class requirements are the program Rough Animator and a drawing tablet.
This class is for beginners wanting to learn about 2D animation. There is a section of the class that will revisit a skill I taught in another class, here on Skillshare, called “Good Vibrations: Add animation to your video titles.” You may want to take this class first but it is not necessary.
For our class project, we will be animating a cartoon turkey. For a bonus, we will turn our work into an animated Thanksgiving video card for you to personalize and share.
