Centre Virchow-Villermé

The Centre Virchow-Villermé for Public Health Paris-Berlin was initiated by the Franco-German Council of Ministers and co-established on 15 April 2013 by the University of Sorbonne Paris Cité and the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Elysée Treaty.
The aim of the institution is to purposefully bundle German and French expertise in the fields of public health and global health with the objective of better meeting the challenges faced by the health sector in the 21st century in the areas of teaching, research and expertise.
