Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action (CanopyLAB)

This course aims to give you an introduction to Goal 13, including a deep-dive into the magnitude of the problems caused by climate change, what needs to be done, and what progress has been made to address it. While Goal 13 emphasizes actions at high levels such as national or international, each individual has an important role to play to make Goal 13 successful. Find out why, and how to get involved, in this course.

This might seem like an all too scientific statistic that doesn’t affect you, but in reality it is already changing your home, health and even food. Join the global movement for climate action. In this course, we provide you with an introduction to the Sustainable Development Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation and all its related targets aiming to achieve the goal by the year 2030. We will also learn about how the United Nations, civil society, the private sector and governments work both independently and interdependently on this issue.
