En este MOOC, los participantes tendrán la posibilidad de conocer las generalidades de la metagenómica, partiendo de su estrategia de trabajo y las diferentes herramientas que le permiten a los investigadores tomar y analizar los datos necesarios para los estudios relacionados con esta ciencia.
Así mismo, tendrán la posibilidad de reconocer algunos de los posibles campos de aplicación y cuál es el impacto que tiene la metagenómica en áreas como la salud, la industria y el ambiente con el objetivo de incentivar el interés en el desarrollo de nuevas investigaciones.
