Conciencia Lingüística (Coursera)

Al finalizar el curso serás capaz de: Tomar conciencia acerca de cómo funciona el lenguaje humano, en lo que se refiere a la formación de palabras y estructuras que usamos a diario, su combinación y sus distintas posibilidades de significado. Con ello, se espera que el estudiante desarrolle una conciencia lingüística sobre el español y, con ello, logre un mayor control sobre el uso creativo de las palabras y las oraciones en español.

WEEK 1
La Facultad del Lenguaje
Es sabido que el estudio de la gramática se ha considerado como tedioso e inútil en el sistema educativo, por lo cual, se ha ido eliminando de los planes y programas de estudio preuniversitarios. La consecuencia de lo anterior es que los estudiantes hayan comenzado a presentar muchos problemas y dificultades en la construcción y corrección de sus propios discursos; esto ocurre desde hace 50 años.
Se pretende que, con este curso, los estudiantes logren desarrollar una conciencia lingüística que les permita darse cuenta de las posibilidades estructurales, muchas de ellas creativas, que tiene el español. Y, como consecuencia, se espera que los participantes del curso desarrollen su capacidad para usar mejor su lenguaje y corregir con conciencia sus propios escritos. Para lo anterior, se hará una revisión general sobre lo que es el lenguaje, desde el punto de vista de las nuevas investigaciones gramaticales y lingüísticas. Asimismo, se presentará un panorama abreviado de ciertos aspectos de fonética y, finalmente, se hará una revisión de las clases de palabras en español, sus propiedades y su comportamiento gramatical.
