CompTIA Linux+ (Cybrary)

Linux+ is a flexible, open-source, low-cost platform favored for its ease of use in virtualization and cloud-based applications. More organizations are adopting Linux into their enterprise, and thus the need for Linux+ certified employees is growing. Our free, self-paced online Linux+ training prepares students with the knowledge to become a certified Linux+ expert, spanning a curriculum that covers Linux maintenance tasks, user assistance and installation and configuration.

Ironically, Linux+, an open-source software, has not been so open-source in its training. Students have spent thousands to learn the operating system, but those days are over. Linux is a very well liked platform for those who use it, and an understanding of how to manage, implement and maintain it, can be very valuable to an IT career. In fact, if you are growing a Cyber Security career, this class is valuable as well, as you will be expected to have a fundamental working knowledge in many penetration testing tactics. Gain a fundamental knowledge and learn the skills that are required of junior Linux administrators by taking our FREE CompTIA Linux+ online training course.

Organizations need workers who can help others with computer hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Healthcare organizations are still converting to digitized systems, requiring more IT support. Workers are retiring, and organizations are contracting workers through IT consultancies rather than in-house IT technicians. With remote and hybrid work here to stay, organizations must provide employees with the devices and support they need to remain connected and productive. Additionally, IT support roles are often a steppingstone that enables employees to grow into higher-paying IT careers.
