Las competencias digitales son esenciales para asegurar una participación activa del sujeto en la sociedad global cada vez más digital. Son competencias clave para el aprendizaje permanente, el incremento del capital científico, la gestión de información y la disminución de la brecha digital. Asimismo, son herramientas fundamentales para la enseñanza y, en el contexto actual, constituyen un elemento ineludible en el perfil docente, ampliamente requerido y valorado por las organizaciones educativas.

Por tanto, para comprender mejor sus dimensiones, niveles y ámbitos de aplicación, en este curso se analizan temas clave como la revolución digital y tecnológica, aunado a su contribución en la construcción social del conocimiento; las diversas clasificaciones del aprendizaje mediado por tecnología, con el subsecuente análisis de las tendencias educativas actuales; y la colaboración en red, como estrategia para el desarrollo académico del docente.
Independientemente de tu experiencia previa, este curso te permitirá establecer un marco conceptual de las competencias digitales, permitiéndote identificarlas claramente, con la finalidad de establecer una estrategia para su incorporación al ejercicio de tu práctica profesional.

Syllabus

Módulo I. Tecnologías y revolución digital
Información preliminar sobre el impacto de las tecnologías en los ámbitos: económico, político, social y cultural del contexto actual.

Módulo 2. La Sociedad de la información y del conocimiento
Introducción a conceptos propios de la sociedad en red, como punto de partida para la gestión y transformación de la información en conocimiento.

Módulo 3. Las competencias digitales
Introducción al concepto de competencia digital: análisis de la evolución del término, de sus dimensiones, niveles de desarrollo y principales marcos de referencia.

Módulo 4. Taxonomía del aprendizaje mediado por tecnología
Análisis comparativo de las principales modalidades y enfoques educativos que utilizan recursos y medios tecnológicos digitales, como eje principal y/o complementario en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje-evaluación.

Módulo 5. Tendencias educativas y colaboración académica en red
Revisión de las tendencias que se pronostican para la educación mediada por tecnología, a partir de las innovaciones recientes y de los productos tecnológico-educativos en fase de desarrollo.

Módulo 6. Competencias digitales docentes
Introducción al concepto de competencia digital docente: análisis de la evolución del término, de sus dimensiones, niveles de desarrollo y principales marcos de referencia.
