WEEK 1
Introducción al curso
En el sexto y último curso del programa Especializado en Finanzas Corporativas revisaremos los conceptos fundamentales que todo administrador financiero debe tener en cuenta en sus actividades diarias.Se presenta un caso práctico en el que se aplicarán las herramientas, método de análisis y evaluación a una operación de adquisición de activo fijo, ya sea a través de arrendamiento o financiamiento. En dicho caso, se deberá tomar la decisión financiera más viable aplicando los conocimientos adquiridos en los cinco cursos anteriores.
Administración Financiera y su Función en la Empresa
En el módulo Administración Financiera y su Función en la Empresa, además de definir las finanzas, recordaremos el dilema que enfrenta el administrador financiero en la teoría de
agencia, quiénes son los usuarios de la información financiera, los estados financieros básicos y las herramientas más comunes para su análisis e interpretación.

WEEK 2
Matemáticas Financieras
Recordarás el interés simple, descuento simple, interés compuesto y descuento compuesto en operaciones de inversión y financiamiento, así como a desarrollar tablas de amortización mediante anualidades vencidas, con tasas variables, pagos a capital y periodos de gracia. Aprenderás a proyectar estados financieros que reflejen diferentes escenarios que afectan la información financiera.

WEEK 3
Evaluación de Inversiones en Bienes de Capital
En este módulo recordarás cómo evaluar los bienes de capital, dependiendo de la situación económica en la que se encuentre la empresa con sus proyectos de inversión. Aplicarás métodos como el valor presente neto, tasa interna de retorno e índice de rentabilidad a una operación de adquisición de activo fijo, ya sea a través de arrendamiento o financiamiento.

WEEK 4
Estructura de Capital y Política de Dividendos
Gracias a este curso, el administrador financiero también será capaz de evaluar activos financieros o portafolios al considerar la relación que existe entre riesgo y retorno, bien a través del modelo Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) o del Arbitrage Pricing Theory (APT). En este curso, recordarás qué es la estructura de capital, los elementos que la integran y su importancia en la administración financiera, revisarás los diferentes tipos de acciones y las implicaciones que conlleva la emisión de cada una de ellas.

WEEK 5
Valuación de Empresas
En este módulo aplicarás los métodos de valuación de empresa, considerando las alternativas de financiamiento y arrendamiento para decidir cuál es la mejor alternativa en la adquisición de un activo fijo para la empresa.
