Cómo hacer una tesis (Coursera)

Con este curso, ofrecido por la UNAM, el participante en proceso de titulación o que están finalizando estudios universitarios, será capaz de elaborar una tesis en seis meses; por medio de las herramientas adquiridas en cada módulo, a fin de que las conjuguen con los conocimientos, habilidades y aptitudes con que cuentan e impulsando sus capacidades de investigación.

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Es momento de empezar a trabajar en la tesis, ¡qué miedo! Pero no te preocupes, son más los mitos que existen en relación con este trabajo.
En este módulo, conocerás lo qué es una tesis y sus diferentes tipos, así como la forma de organizarte eficientemente para concluirla tan pronto como sea posible.
¿Con melón o con sandía?
Antes de empezar a trabajar tu tesis, es necesario escoger un tema de tu interés, así como un asesor. ¿Pero cómo escogerlos? En este módulo, te daremos ciertos consejos para guiarte en todas estas decisiones.

WEEK 2
La importancia del lenguaje académico
¿Alguna vez has intentado leer algún texto de una disciplina ajena a la tuya? Seguramente encontraste palabras cuyo significado no conocías. Esto se debe a que los diferentes campos de estudio han creado su propio lenguaje, como en los clubs secretos. En este módulo, entenderás la importancia de conocer el lenguaje de tu campo de estudio.
Protocolo de investigación ¿Qué es eso?
Para esta aventura que es elaborar tu tesis, necesitarás una brújula para no perderte en el camino.
¿Dónde conseguir una? ¿Cómo utilizarla? Es lo que aprenderás en este módulo, ya que construirás la herramienta básica a lo largo de este proceso: el protocolo de investigación.

WEEK 3
Construyamos la hipótesis
Para esta aventura que es elaborar tu tesis, necesitarás una brújula para no perderte en el camino.
¿Dónde conseguir una? Es lo que aprenderás en este módulo, ya que construirás la herramienta que te guiará en este proceso: tu hipótesis.
Llegó la hora de la verdad: Escribiendo mi tesis, parte 1
Es momento de escribir tu tesis. No te preocupes, todo el trabajo realizado en el transcurso de tu vida académica te servirá como apoyo.
En realidad, en este módulo sólo ampliarás el trabajo realizado y te dedicarás a escribir la primera parte de tu tesis.

WEEK 4
Escribiendo mi tesis, parte 2
Llegamos al momento de escribir nuestra tesis. No te preocupes, todo el trabajo que hemos realizado en el transcurso de tu vida académica nos servirá de apoyo.
En realidad, en este módulo sólo ampliaremos el trabajo realizado. En este módulo nos dedicaremos a escribir la segunda parte de la tesis.

¡Felicidades! Si has llegado hasta aquí, significa que la aventura está por terminar. Sólo unos cuantos pasos más y tendrás tu título en la mano
