Teaching Science

This course will prepare you for teaching science in higher education. In this MOOC you will learn to make your knowledge as an excellent researcher accessible to your students. We will show you how to communicate science to novices as well as advanced students in science.

This MOOC is designed to help doctoral teaching assistants develop their teaching skills in scientific and engineering disciplines at university level. The MOOC will address what to do when you teach as well as explaining why these approaches work.

This six-week interactive and collaborative course integrates systems thinking with computer models designed to ‘bring biology to life’. You will learn how to use online simulations to develop core biology content and practices, aligned with the NGSS.
