Michelle is Director of Academic Services at Academic Partnerships and author of Best Practices for Teaching with Emerging Technologies. She has been a member of the Steering Committee of the Sloan-C Emerging Technologies Symposium for Online Learning since 2012 and has received two Sloan-C awards for quality online instruction. Michelle is currently pursuing her EdD in Educational Leadership and is an online Associate Faculty member at Mt. San Jacinto College.

Gamification is the integration of game elements into a non-game setting — such as building online communities, education and outreach, or building educational apps.
