Anne-Sophie Bohrer
Anne-Sophie Bohrer received her Ph.D. in Plant Biochemistry from the Paris-Sud University (France) and joined the department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University as a postdoc shortly after. She now works for the Great Lakes Bioenergy Center at MSU and her research focuses on the metabolic profiling of Switchgrass, a bioenergy crop of interest for the sustainable production of biofuels.
In recent years, she became passionate about professional and career development of early career scientists and the importance of implementing such curriculum in their training. In January 2020, she facilitated the first Postdoc Academy Learning Session (PALS) at MSU, which gave her the opportunity to work with Postdoc Academy members Rique Campa and Tony Nunez. She is now involved in content development for the Postdoc Academy project.
