Welcome to another Beginner's Watercolor Portrait Class! I am going to be teaching you how to paint emotions in this series. This is the first one and there will be another class to come. In this class, I am going to be demonstrating how to paint sadness. Through a new technique that I will be introducing for this class, I will be showing you step-by-step how to paint a face of someone who looks as if they have been crying or are about to cry.
What You'll Need :
- Watercolor Set
- Watercolor brushes running from small to medium and even large (for the hair)
- Pencil and eraser
- Watercolor paper, recommended weight for beginners is 140lb / 300g
Grab your utensils, and let's begin to paint!
Hey Guys!
Thank you for taking the class, now....it's your turn! Paint your own version of a sad portrait. It can show similar emotions such as worry, anxiety or distress. Have a go at it and share with the rest of class. Honestly speaking, I LOVE seeing how you guys interpret the classes. Can't wait.
