How to Get Started on A Content Calendar (Skillshare)

In this Lesson, we’ll be covering Content Calendars: What they are, how they are used and guide you towards creating one that is tailored for your planning and efficiency needs.
Project Description

The aim for the project is to give you a foundation that will kickstart your own content calendar and allow you to have a document to go back to for your future reference for consistency or even for changes.

1. Create a document and add one-liners for your “Who, What, When, Where, How”. It’s okay to be general. Just remember to make sure it makes sense for exactly what you want to accomplish with your calendar

2. Add three platforms to your project for your consideration and list the pros and cons specific to you.

3. Here are some things to consider going into your own calendar and the class project:

- What level of detail does your calendar require?

- Does each network need a separate calendar or should it all be on the same sheet?

- Are you working with a team? Do you need an add-on to be able to assign people tasks?

- Do you want to track content as they been published/posted?

Don’t forget to check out each other’s projects. You’d be surprised to find similarities that can allow you to help one another. You could even find aspects you never considered. Be kind and don’t be afraid to help each other out or contact us for some one-on-one help.
