Weichao Chen

Weichao Chen received her Ph.D. in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 2012. She received her Master of Education from Peking University in 2008 and her B.S. in educational technology and B.A. in English from Beijing Normal University in 2005. She has published and presented in various international peer-reviewed journals and conferences on instructional design and content presentation of online learning environments, social knowledge construction, program evaluation, faculty development, and learning assessment. In 2013, she was invited as a guest speaker for a two-week, medium-sized open online course on “New Media and Learning” hosted by Peking University in China.
