enkat has 14+ years of experience in Project and Program management across Online & Mobile Advertising, Product Development, Product Engineering, Ad Networks, Platforms and IT Services. As a Coach and practitioner over 9+ years in Agile, Venkat has led process formulation and adoption across large enterprises. He is proficient in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean Kanban and XP. Venkat recently was the Head of PMO at at InMobi, Bangalore managing a large portfolio of 120+ releases (of varying durations) across 15+ teams using Agile Scrum & Kanban through a framework (similar to SAFe) that has been time tested. Prior to InMobi, Venkat has worked with AOL and MindTree Ltd., and was responsible for delivering products and services using Agile methodologies (Scrum & XP). Venkat is a SAFe Agilist, PMI-RMP, PMP, PMI-ACP (Agile), CSM and CSP (Scrum certified professional) and a strong believer in continuing education. He has also taken recent certifications on IT Governance (CGEIT and COBIT5) and pursuing CRISC in Risk Management. Venkat is a volunteer faculty at PMI Bangalore Chapter. He has been part of the team who created the content and delivered multiple programs on Agile (PMI-ACP) through the chapter. He is also working with a training institute in delivering PMI-ACP content using online videos as a medium of delivery. A continuous leaner and conference enthusiast, he also presented a paper on Portfolio Management through Agile at the PMI National Conference in Chennai in 2012. He was also the panelist at Sasken Project Management Day speaking on Agile and a power panel speaker at PMI Chennai Tamilnadu Conference 2013 about Agile PM delivering true value. He has also presented in the CII in August 2013 on Project Governance using Agile. He also was an invited speaker at Intel Project Management Day in December 2013. Venkat was also the core team member of Agile India 2014 and delivered a presentation on Scaling Agile in Feb 2014.
