Phanramphoei Frantz

Phanramphoei Frantz, AKA Dr. Jibby, is a postdoctoral research scientist in the field of virology in the Vaccine Innovation Unit at Institut Pasteur. Her work involves the pathogenesis study and vaccine development of the porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), which is a coronavirus causing disease in pigs. She is also developing a measles-vector based dengue vaccine. In the time of the COVID-19 crisis, she also contributes her direct experience with coronavirus to help the team to develop vaccine candidates to combat the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2.
