Lennart Svensson

Lennart Svensson received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1999 and the Ph.D. degree in 2004, both from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. He is Professor in Signal Processing. His research interests include nonlinear filtering, multi-target tracking, deep learning, Bayesian inference and reinforcement learning. Lennart Svensson has published extensively in the multi-target tracking literature and received several prices for his papers. He is also an active teacher, who has developed five different courses over the last five years. In his courses, he emphasizes on active learning and is using flipped classroom teaching and online video lectures extensively to do so. For these efforts, he has received Chalmers University of Technology's annual Pedagogical Award as well as an award for being the best lecturer/examiner at one of the educational programs at Chalmers.
