Katie Lopez

Katie Lopez (LMSW) is the Assistant Director of the Office of Global Activities and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Michigan School of Social Work where she is responsible for the overall administration of the office including overseeing the Global Activities Scholars Program, the Masters International Volunteer Program and Coverdell Fellows programs, the Certificate in Global Social Work, and the Visiting Scholars program. She also serves as the Office of Field Instruction liaison for students completing global social work field placements. Katie is the chair of the university-wide Council on Global Engagement. She has been working at the University of Michigan since 2010. Katie has a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan.
