Inge Groenendijk

Dr. Inge Groenendijk obtained her PhD in 2023 on ‘Nutritional factors to support bone health in older adults’. She is now a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University, where she continues her research on the impact of nutrition on bone health during ageing. This includes answering the question if it matters for bone health of older adults to consume more plant protein instead of animal protein. In addition, she aims to find the best lifestyle intervention for rehabilitating hip fractures patients to improve bone and muscle health, and quality of life.
