Anna Jenkins

Anna Jenkins is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at The University of Queensland. She holds a PhD in Business Administration from Jönköping International Business School, Sweden and a Bachelor of Economics (honours) from the University of Adelaide, Australia. Prior to joining UQ, Anna was employed as a lecturer with Jönköping International Business School.

Anna’s research focuses on how entrepreneurs navigate the startup process with a particular emphasis on how entrepreneurs manage setbacks and failure. Taking a social psychology perspective she focuses on learning, decision making, stress and motivation in the in the entrepreneurship process. Additionally, Anna currently holds a UQ Teaching Innovation Grant developing an interdisciplinary experiential learning approach to creating an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.

Anna’s work has been published in the leading entrepreneurship journal and has been presented at leading international conferences. She has also been an invited speaker on learning from failure and the findings from her research have been published in trade journals, magazines and newspapers.
