"Shorty-shorts" is a series of design classes created around the idea of learning content in fifteen minutes or less. In part one of this three part series, I'll take you through the steps of designing your cartoon character from ideation to final sketch. I break down the most essential concepts in creating a likable and believable cartoon character for your cartoon, animation, or comic project.
The great thing about part one of this course is that it is FREE to enroll! All you need is your creativity and something to draw with.

In Part 1 of the Shorty-Shorts Series, you will create a cartoon character sketch!
You will have three deliverables for this class:
- Your Cartoon Influences
- Your Know Thy Character Outline
- Your Final Sketch with Application of Shape Language
You will need the following materials:
- Drawing Tablet and Software or Pencil and Markers if using Traditional Media
- A way to Upload Images
- Creativity
- 15 minutes or less
