Learn to play "Day-O" on the Steel Drum (or a Steel Drum app) FUN!!! (Skillshare)

This is a fun course that will enable you to play a very laid-back, beachy, fun, tropical song on a Steel Drum (or even a Steel Drum app) for your friends and family. You will learn the notes to play at a VERY SLOW speed, gaining confidence, until you can play the song at full speed.

Once you learn the basic notes that comprise the song, you will be playing along with the instructor. Once you're comfortable with that, you'll add a metronome to keep the beat, and then YOU will take the lead!
The course is meant for beginners with no musical knowledge,
The project for this class will be to play the song, in its entirety at full speed. Use the slow play along until you’re comfortable, then try the full speed. Concentrate on accuracy, and the speed will come.
Once you’re comfortable with the song...download a screen recording app, and record yourself playing the song.
I can't wait to see and hear your project!
Above all, have fun.
