To avoid this, developers rely on, and apply, design patterns to control complexity, limit duplication, and build quality, scalable apps. By taking this course, you are preparing yourself to work in larger iOS codebases — utilizing and implementing design patterns to solve bigger and bigger problems.

Prerequisites and requirements
Before taking this course, you should be able to:

  • Build multi-view applications using navigation, table, and other view controller subclasses
  • Send and receive data using URL requests
  • Run a Xcode project in the iOS simulator
