Calligraphy is a beautiful way to paint letters. But it is also a way to paint any subject with the same flow and elegance. This class integrates the strokes used in calligraphy into painting flowers, and eventually any subject you choose to paint. This class will teach you to paint flowers using full strokes with your brush. These kind of strokes are also used in calligraphy with lettering, and can be used to paint flowers that move, have structure and come to life.
If you have painted with watercolors before, you have everything that you will need. If you have not painted with watercolors before, even better, because this class is about learning brush strokes that carryover into painting watercolors from now on.
We are going to paint two flowers together using calligraphy strokes to produce paintings that are different in style and accentuate the beauty of the brushstrokes.
