Hello Hello!! Welcome to the byte sized version of the white florals class - in the watercolor postcard series. In my previous class I covered everything about painting white florals on larger sizes but this one is all about those minis - daisies and snowdrops. And we cover everything about masking fluids - all the tips and tricks you need to know about using it and saving your brushes and papers.
In case you want to explore the bigger white flowers, you can catch the class here -
Watercolor White Florals
Materials you will need
- Watercolor paper - I am using Postcards from Baohong but you can use any paper and cut it into A6 size. Preferably 100 pc cotton 300 gsm and machine pressed as it will be tricky to work with masking fluid on handmade paper
- Brushes - one round brush for detailing and one for background washes
- Watercolors - I have shared the shades I used in the projects separately
- Masking Fluid
And we are all set! Lets dive in!
For the class project we are painting three mini white floral postcards. You can try these out on bigger size paper as well. Feel free to explore different composition using the same techniques..
