Michael Kuhar

Dr Kuhar’s general interests include how the brain works and what goes wrong in neuropsychiatric disease. He studies many species including man, choosing the best way to answer the question at hand. Behavior, anatomy of brain structures, and the chemistry of the brain are studied. A focus of his research has been drug addiction, particularly the effects cocaine and amphetamines. New strategies for the development of medications for drug addicts has also been a theme over many years.
