Marian Vermue

Dr. ir. MH Vermue is associate professor at the department of Agrotechnology and Food Sciences at Wageningen University & Research. During her MSc studies Molecular Sciences and her PhD in Bioprocess Engineering at Wageningen University, she worked on biotechnological projects using an integrative approach. In her PhD thesis Biocatalysis in non-conventional media I focused on the design of fermentors which integrated part of downstream processing while closely studying the effects on the cell metabolism.
