Marcel Lüthi

My research interest centers around statistical shape models of anatomical structures and their application to the analysis of medical images. My current research focus is how methods from machine learning and shape statistics can be used to overcome the limitations of currently used models.
Before joining the University of Basel in 2006, I did a Master in Engineering Mathematics at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, and a Bachelor in Computer Science, at the Berne University of Applied Sciences.
