I am Senior Researcher at the National Food Institute at The Technical University of Denmark (DTU), I have a background as a Veterinarian and I come from Portugal. I work for about 15 years in Microbiology performing research, teaching and international networking. My main field is antimicrobial resistance and as part of my daily work I have responsabilities within the EU Reference laboartory for Antimicrobial resistance (EURL-AMR) and the World Health Organization Collaborating Center on Antimicrobial resistance (WHO CC) as part of which we perform training, performance testing and daily network with many laboratories around the world.
