James Pickering

James is interested in pedagogical research which looks at the use of mobile media devices and technology in enhancing the student learning experience across the HE sector. Currently, he is designing and developing a series of educational podcasts and screencasts which address areas of human anatomy. It is his intention to aggregate these resources into smart phone or tablet application eBooks and a website. He has recently received £15000 of funding for this project as part of his University Student Education Fellowship. He is also involved in developing resources for the University’s iTunesU, YouTube Edu and MOOCs projects.
